To test all trampoline springs, clench the end of the coil in your fist and shake it. After shaking several trampoline springs you will notice a variance in the amount of coil tension. Replace those trampoline springs that are noticeably loose.
Once a few trampoline springs lose their shape if they are not replaced the other springs near them will also start to lose their shape as they take on a greater workload.
